Unloved

My heart cries for you,

Weeping in solitude,

Bathed in empty promises,

And dressed in pain,

It ignores my request,

Choosing loneliness again.

My home is now vacant,

Dancing towards a void,

An abyss charged with sorrow,

Imprisoned,

In the hope of tomorrow.

Your words disfigured my truth

With wretched lies,

Your selfishness,

Killed the light in my sky,

Love betrayed all that was mine,

And left me bereaved,

At the hands of time.
