There Is No Love

There is no love,

That hurts and breaks,

And leaves you feeling out of place,

There is no love,

That begs for control,

And makes you breathless,

By fear alone,

There is no love,

That wants to own your thoughts,

And drown your smile

With endless mind games,

There is no love,

That creates eternal doubt,

And neglects your soul,

Without remorse,

There is no love,

That makes you feel worthless,

Believing its what you deserve,

There is no love,

That screams in agony,

Without being heard,

There is no love,

That cries tears of pain,

Over and over again,

There is no love

That wants you to feel guilty,

And take all the blame,

There is no love

That twists your words,

And punishes in silence,

As you ask for peace,

There is no love like this,

No wounds to show,

No faded scars,

No heavy tears,

No questions asked,

Nobody knows

Love like this,

Except for me.
