The Traveller

Photo by Harry Cunningham on Unsplash

My heart is unearthed,

Breathing life in the empty grounds,

Where shadows dance with grace,

And my spirit is free upon reflection.

I am in awe of the beauty in darkness,

It is here that I see the light and through the pain,

I can feel my soul.

I am the silence and the noise,

A wistful truth that is so hard to find,

I am joy and sadness, all intertwined,

Travelling upon the paths of time.
