The Silhouette Of Life
Behold the velvet blanket of time,
The paraphrase of infinite life,
I see the shape, the silhouette,
Dancing and turning
Towards an inner plight,
The battle implores us to become,
To know oneself amongst the storm,
Up in arms, we roam endlessly,
Towards the sacred valley
Of our failing dreams.
The silhouette of life gives and takes,
It demands my agitated state,
That comes with faults and all,
And breaks in silence,
These hostile walls.
With an untamed heart,
And a woeful soul,
I will heed my path
And learn to love,
The intricate details,
Of my forlom tears,
And troubled past.
Until I see beauty,
Roam these streets
Once again,
I will not rest or dim the stars.
