The Incessant Truth

Photo by Esteban Amaro on Unsplash

I have nested in the waves of pain,

Where lost souls come to rest,

To lay their bones without judgement,

Release their tears, destitute of fear.

The winds are tranquil here,

And the air is pure,

I can see the falling stars above,

Trying to rescue what's left of my heart,

Igniting a sense of trust.

Silence caresses the shores of regret,

As the seeds of joy

Reach for a new day,

The incessant truth lays bare,

A story of old,

Being hidden

On the trail of despair,

Left to grieve lost words,

Like wretched ghosts,

Waiting to be heard,

The pages of a lonely life,

Take centre stage,

As the moment of truth,

At last, it has become.
