The Debris of My Soul

Picture by: Paola Chaaya on Unsplash

My silent tears embody beauty and pain,

They sail tragically across the moon and skies,

Inviting dreams to die and turn to dust,

Solitude dresses the night with vulnerability,

My broken heart is frail. and weak,

I cannot rescue the stars from their ultimate

fate. The light will soon collapse, and darkness

will settle amongst the debris of my soul.
