The Death Of Night

When the day passes away,

And the infinite light finds refuge,

When the warm breeze takes rest,

Amongst natures melody,

When the sky turns a darker shade,

Inviting eager stars to play,

And for the moon to sing in jest,

I will be yearning for the death of night,

So that I may see you again,

On destiny’s side,

Where the sun never rests,

And love is forever ours.
