Solitude

The stars gently weep in the dead of night,

Within the loudest silence, they cry,

The tearful sky embraces solitude,

As the moon declares a restless tide.

Where is the joy of this tainted life?

That tosses and turns

With no end in sight,

As loneliness reigns

In the corners of my mind,

My fragile state resigns,

And the melody of fear,

Performs without remorse,

In the emptiness of time.
