Phillipa and Tristan: Together 23 years

We met on a train from London to Birmingham. We sat in the same carriage. She came up to me and asked for the time. From that moment I just knew she was going to be my wife one day. I felt like I had known her all of my life. We spoke for hours, and got off at the same train station. I walked her home, and since that day, we have never spent more than three days apart. Three children and 23 years later, I still love her as much as I did the day we got married.

Marion and Colin: Together 37 years

It was thirty seven years ago to this day. We met on a cruise ship. I worked as a mechanical engineer fixing lifts on the ship, and Marion had a part in the panto, playing Snow White. I went to see her perform one night, and it was love at first sight for me. I went up to her and asked for her number, but she turned me down. She was engaged to be married. Three years later we crossed paths in a coffee shop in London. We were both single. It was the beginning of a beautiful love story. I never wanted to be without her after that. Five children and three dogs later, here we are.
