My fragile state

Underneath the berried truths,

I promise to find genuine deception,

My heart breaks loudly in the silence

as the words collapse but never die.

You were my all, my every breath,

The fiery light in my starless night,

A torn reflection of sacred dreams,

The papery whispers of forgotten love.

I miss the resonance of your voice,

The burning echoes of mislaid hope,

Do not let my woven tears reveal me,

Fate has disowned me once again.
