Fear

Fear paralyses me,

I am scared

To breathe the air,

Afraid that I won't care

When my hands tremble,

And sadness only longs,

For my tears.

Grief strikes the core of me,

I am frightened of the world,

Screaming at this life,

That didn't feel my pain,

Fragile and alone,

I am terrified

Of failing once again,

Petrified of being me.

I am the subdued passion,

And the broken heart,

I am the deserted soul

Who could not trust,

Scared and hopeless,

I fight in the dark,

Without the art of reason,

I am lost,

And cannot be found.
