All that I am

Photograph by Joshua Earle from Unsplash

I am an endless mess,

Who believes in the power of love,

I am a broken heart,

Who dances in the light with shadows,

I am a weary soul,

Who has faded amongst the darkness,

I am the forgotten rose,

Who dreams of spring,

I am the burden and the grief,

Of all that I once was,

I am the unrepentant angel,

Who lost the magic in his wings,

I am the unfiltered voice

Of a crude reality,

Yet, I am me,

In all transparency.
