Ten years ago,

My life changed forever,

I met your heart and felt your soul,

Beneath uncertain weather.

Like a dream,

I fell under your spell,

In that moment,

The world stood still,

And love took centre stage.

Nothing could compare

To the beauty of all that you were,

The stars aligned for us,

We became one,

Under the midnight sun.

The first year was like paradise,

It was the start of spring,

You and me were everything.

Each day was filled with passion,

Amidst the beauty of your gaze,

We sketched our future

With the plans we made.

The second year was serene,

Getting to know eachother’s dreams,

Wanting to build a home,

Imagining our lives as we grew old.

The third year you proposed,

Underneath our favourite tree,
